Have an infant, toddler, or preschooler that you want to excel in reading? Join our 1,000 Books Before Kindergarten program to develop a strong literacy foundation for your child by reading 1,000 books before they start kindergarten.

It’s easier than you think—one book a night is 365 books, and re-reading a favorite book counts each time you read it! Work through the program at a pace that works best for your family, with the Library encouraging you and your child on your journey at the completion of every 100 books.
