Ellenville Regional Hospital Auxiliary: A Legacy in Focus
This exhibit invites visitors on a historical journey from 1923 to the present day, highlighting the enduring impact of the Ellenville Regional Hospital Auxiliary. From the hardships of the Great Depression and the wartime efforts of World War II and Vietnam, to President Johnson’s historic dedication in 1966, through the tragedy of September 11 and the challenges of the COVID-19 pandemic-the Auxiliary has been a constant source of strength and service.
From sewing curtains and bed linens during wartime to providing thousands of hours in volunteer service and funding life-saving medical equipment; the Auxiliary has demonstrated decades of unwavering commitment to our hospital and community.
